Projects
Here’s what we’ve done so far and what’s coming next:
Believe In The Good Campaign
When we met Lilly Allers of Reed City, Michigan for the first time, we knew we wanted to help her raise awareness for transgender rights, as she was bullied for using the girls bathroom at her high school after she came out as a trans woman, and we also wanted to help support her financially. We started the Believe In The Good Campaign and sold T-shirts all across the globe to raise money for Lilly and to help us all remember to believe in the good. The local newspaper picked up the story, along with the local news station! It was beautiful to see a whole community come around Lillly and show support and love.
The campaign ran from June until August 2023
and we were able to raise $1,000 for Lilly to put into a fund for surgeries and a car.
Lilly and her mom, Rachel, were a part of our elopement and continue to be a part of our family. We’ve even coined the name GodMoms of Lillly!
Age Gap Community
We’ve spent hours and hours cultivating an age gap community filled with Framily (you know, friends that become family) where everyone supports each other, keeps each other company in group/subscriber chats, and truly makes it feel like nobody is alone. We are so proud to be a part of this loving and supportive community, and getting to meet some of our Framily in real life has truly been a gift.
We’ve done meet ups in
Big Rapids, MI
Holland, MI
Chicago, IL
Lansing, MI (x2)
Marquette, MI
Traverse City, MI
Dallas, TX
Oklahoma City, OK
Suttons Bay, MI
And the list will continue to grow (especially as we get to know more of you and we find safety in you) and we have many plans in the works currently. It’s our pride and joy to be able to hug you and talk to you in person, have a mental health chat while we have a beer with you and grow our beautiful community.
Voluntary Michigan Beer Ambassadors
Michigan is…the best place on the planet and we continue to show our love for our beautiful state and the wonderful microbreweries we have here! We are not affiliated with anything related to Pure Michigan or any brewery, we just truly enjoy sharing new places, beautiful scenes, cities we love to visit and camp in, and everything in between. There is beauty all around us, and we enjoy sharing Pure Michigan PROUDLY. And we proudly drink Michigan beers and haven’t met one we didn’t like (Bells, Founders, Jamesport Brewery, Black Rocks, Ore Dock, Fresh Coast, Middlecoast, Midtown Brewery, The Mitten, Reed City Brewing Co., Stormcloud…just to name a few.)
