Who she is

At her core, Monica is a creative, a human full of soul and compassion and if you ask her what her dream is, it's "to make the world a better place and hold flashlights for those sitting in the dark." She is a wife, mom, daughter, friend, and lover.

Originally from Caledonia, Monica moved away from the city and desired to call the woods home so her kids could be raised like her and her younger brother were, wild and free. Call her skilled at many things, she is a school bus driver at the local charter school, creates social media content, is writing her first book, designs websites, collabs with cool companies, rock hunts like it's her job, photographs lifestyle portraits and weddings in her own gig since 2011, likes to think she knows how to take care of houseplants, would someday love to live in a house on wheels and travel the world with her Michelle. She's an aspiring writer and mental health advocate and desires to shine light in the world of dark.

Monica is 32 years old and currently lives in Michigan with her wife, Michelle and their two kids, Zeke and Charlie, and their pups, Lillie, Cricket and Winnie. Monica has been in the LGBT community since she was 28.
